Overview

A seating system that moves with its users

Pebble Pods reimagines how students inhabit outdoor campus spaces — shifting from fixed, one-size-fits-all benches to a modular ecosystem that adapts to a study session, a group hangout, or a spontaneous gathering without anyone needing to plan for it.

Problem

Large campuses rely on static furniture that fails dynamic group use, causes discomfort, and degrades under Indian climate conditions.

Solution

A family of rotomoulded HDPE modular seats that reconfigure without tools, resist all weather, and scale affordably.

Key Takeaways:

01 — Students rearrange furniture constantly — existing fixed seating fights this behavior
02 — Extended use needs ergonomic support — 15–20 min threshold on flat surfaces
03 — Climate and maintenance drive procurement — UV and monsoon resilience is non-negotiable
Market Analysis: $53.27B global · $2.5B India · $11B education sector — fragmented, no dominant modular player
