IKARUS VR began as a new chapter under IKARUS 3D—a chance to take our skills in virtual reality further. But our website didn't match what we were doing. It was static, hard to use, and missed the chance to show our real strengths.
The Goal: Transform IKARUS VR’s online presence into a showcase for domain-specific projects and tailored information—enabling clients to discover relevant case studies, understand our unique approach, and clearly see the value we bring in various industries.This case study explores how we rebuilt the digital experience to align IKARUS VR’s brand, workflow, and project success with the needs and expectations of their prospective clients.

We saw the issues right away:
1. Clients couldn’t easily see what we offered or how we stood out.

3. Our creative and modern style was lost in a generic design.

We used scrollytelling so the story unfolds as you scroll, making the site feel like a journey—just like diving into mixed reality. Each scroll reveals new content: project highlights, services, client feedback, and next steps. Calls to action are placed where visitors are most engaged, making it easy for them to connect or ask about working with us.Here's rationale for each section:
1. Striking Minimal Hero:
Opened with a clean headline and VR headset image—deliberately minimal to spark curiosity and focus the user on starting their journey.
2. Immediate Immersion:
Scrolling drops users right into real VR project experiences, simulating the feeling of entering mixed reality and making value clear from the start.
3. Clear Project Proof:
Each highlight includes key metrics (like scene complexity and frame rates) to establish credibility fast, without overwhelming details.
4. Stepwise Feature Discovery:
Features and capabilities are revealed in digestible steps, making advanced offerings feel accessible and engaging.
5. Platform Confidence:
Supported platforms are shown visually, building trust in technical flexibility right away.
